This is the school that my brother and sister go to. I was there because there was an event there called the "Pumpkin Festival" and there was a haunted house there that used a smoke machine. I was with my friend outside and all of a sudden I hear the outside signal (Wheelock MT-24-WM 2-wire set to Code-3) and so I ran inside. While I was on my way in, there were kids running out screaming "FIRE DRILL!!!" and parents were shrugging to each other. From there on everything is featured in the video. My school's system is the exact same except it is set to Continuous.

Alarms Shown: Simplex Truealert 2-wire set to Code-3

  • why put horns in class rooms their so loud you can here them in the hallway

  • @DethklawExodus well the ones in classrooms are set to low volume, and in large classrooms like the one in this school district, you can barely hear the ones in the hallway

  • very annoying but we have simplex continuous

  • @FGelevators Well the middle and high school are simplex truealerts in continuous

  • Those alarms REALLY need to be in sync! Especially the strobes. If there was an epileptic person, it would be B-A-D news for them, but gotta love the Simplex Trualert!

  • @Hobbymaster1000 true dat...

  • It's about time they switch to Siemens. They have this detector called the Siemens Fire Print and it's photoelectric, which means that it can tell the difference from a real fire and fake smoke.

  • "that thing's loud"

  • @Penguin1lego i know

  • @owenhinton Interesting; I guess your school district wants to be very consistent with their fire alarms. My brother goes to Bridgewater State University and it's all Simplex, mostly with TrueAlerts, but one building has 4903-9219 horn/strobes, and two others have 4051 horns on 4050-80 light plates!

  • @owenhinton and the library at my school still has those type of remote strobes on the ceiling. Also, the high school still has 2901-9838/4903-9101's in the audotorium and the entire wing built around it (the rest of that school just has truealerts).
