One of the greatest speeches of the 20th century.. Such a pity that hatred robbed the world of RFK so shortly afterwards. RIP Bobby.

As RFK knew about violence and hate, but he did nothing to protect himself from that violence. In fact he did not want protection, he was fearless if he had been fearful,and careful he might have lived to be president. But they would have killed him anyway because he was so radical for his time just like his brother.

Anyone really interested in Robert Kennedy needs to read "Robert Kennedy: His Life" by Evan Thomas. Its a long read but this man was more complex than anyone could imagine.

This is most definitely one of the greatest american speeches that is on record and can continue to be applied to life daily
