sos guys, in this video i was probs using a different version of gimp thn you guys i was using the latset one at the time. try looking for presets or extensions and see if a similar glow effect is there.

Sorry for the lack of music! I have noticed a slight problem with this method, when you try to type in the number 4 it comes out as the other way of writing it, so it wont look right. If anybody has a wat of getting the lines in without using alien encounters, which is causing the "4" problem, please send me a message
