all these girls seem like geeds...I would never imagine them even rushing. The girl at 6:08 cusses. They all seem disgusted my the process and really negative. The end kind of made me mad too...Being pretty helps, but I know plenty of beautiful girls who have been cut because they were overtly rude, crude, or seemed dimwitted.

Honestly, if you want to get into a good house: Dress classy during rush, Be poised (yet yourself) and be honest. You'll find your house.

this is ridiculous...the freshman girls are being stupid, and they don't look like the type that would get bids...at least not in my house! I was a membership director and recruitment ("rush") chair. They aren't trying to get into chess club. They will be representatives of our organization. They will be wearing our LETTERS! Which means, since they will be a reflection of us, they are judged on how put together they look.it's unfortunate for these girls...But even the greeks in this vid look bad

This is probably the most realistic depiction of recruitment I've seen on here. The reason the selection process is so hush hush is because, at least in my chapter, it's ritual. You can't just talk about it to anyone let alone PNMs. But they shouldn't be worrying about it anyway, everyone finds a house that fits them in the end.

This totally cracked me up. I love the freshman outrage--what the hell do they think it is? Duh. Of course it is a judgemental process. You're auditioning and competing to get into a social club! When I went through rush in the 80s, I totally knew that's exactly what it was. Of course the prettiest girls have an advantage. Of course the rich or connected girls have an advantage. Love the honest "anonymous" rush chair. Half the girls in my house were bitches, too. That's life.

The girl at 7:10 needs to stop talking about hotness. Because she's not hot at all. And also, might as well just get hot slutty girls. Because the way they're putting it, sounds like a whole lot of slutty
