So... much Death... I came to Redcliffe to retrieve Sten's Blade... Thinking they had time while I continued my hunt for the Ashes, which I learned about in Denerem. . . I left... barely outside the village... I was assulted by Darkspawn... Fear passed through me as I Returned to find... everyone... gone.... Perhaps if I stayed... if Only I had stayed I could have saved them from the Evil... I entered the castle.. slew the dead... then I killed the source of the Evil... a Child none the less.
