The iPhone 4 is approved by Telstra for handheld use in metro and major regional coverage areas. It wasn't given the Blue Tick for handheld use in rural areas.
It requires a bumper case to satisfy the Blue Tick rating, otherwise... it doesn't have the Blue Tick.

I believe that not many people over here are having any dropped calls compared to the US. telstra haveaslso given it the blue tick to say that it is good for rural areas. so the reception is not really a problem with telstra
