@travispnorton thats a pity the more i listen the more i like my shuffle pod for work is pretty much full of the hold steady and lifter puller extremely underrated both bands.Finns like tellin stories thats what i like man common names of people and places just love these bands hope they come down to oz again do they get much radio play in the states i mean the the hold steady
@theytoookourjobs Not a lot of people liked Lifter Puller in the early days; I'm talking they would play with Dillinger Four and the Strike and everyone would leave after those bands and before Lifter Puller went on, leaving 10 people in the audience, me being one of them! At these shows Craig Finn and Steve Barone would typically thank my friend and I for not leaving like all the other punk rock scene kids. Most LP fans caught on to them very shortly before they broke-up/after they broke-up.
@travispnorton man im crazy about the hold steady and recently just started listenin to lifter puller courtesy of someone on youtube pointing me in that direction my eyepod is constantly on these guys finn and the boys genius cant beleive they aernt more succesful
First LP song I ever heard. Extreme Noise Records in MPLS had it, so I figured it was a local hardcore record. I was wrong and my life hasn't been the same since.
