i have a question. when u were asked to delete the partition, i only see one partition to be deleted which is C. what happens to ur E drive? shouldnt it be there too? and when u finish the formatting, does the E drive still there? Thanks

you only select the one drive. every system runs on one and only one. you can make more drives out of it but just keep one letter drive per hd. if you see others when you format its another drive usb card or more you have hooked to the pc or laptop

if you did this and had no cd then how did you do it. if you ran recovery then thats not formatting thats restoring. to do it right if you had problems you need to wipe it all and do it again.

I put my laptop to boot from cd/dvd in BIOS and then i rebot but i can not see "boot from cd/dvd" on the screen.sorry for the bed english.plese help

you may be using another disc not a windows or recovery disc. if you made it there the problem. if not then you set the laptop to boot in bios to cd but never set the order of the boot to the cd/vd drive 1st. then if it read it b4 the drive it will boot the disc. or try running it while windows is running. some systems let you setup then reboot.

Hey i got a question.. when i use the command prompt i type format c: then when they ask me if i wanted to reformat i put Y then it says that volume is in use by another process.then bal bla bla Would you like to force a dismount on this volume i type Y but it say cannot lock the volume what should i do?

@battleaxe68 QUESTION: I need to do this formatting because I have downloaded the Download Accelerator Plus ..... and now I recognize that I don't need It... so I decided to delete it .... I have deleted the Folders inside DAP but when I try to delete one file ... it says YOU DON'T HAVE PERMISSION TO DO THIS or it wont let me delete .. now when I download a file it says " DAP could not be loaded press the back button to continue browsing..... now how do I uninstall it??..... help me PLEASE!!!
