One of my favorite albums by Streisand.... This tune along with "You and I" "A Child is Born" and "Shake Me Wake Me" are favorites.

I always loved this song and it would have never occurred to me that this was a song from way back in 1929. That's when it was featured in the musical revue "The Little Show." The music is by Ralph Rainger.

This song takes you back to that cosy atmosphere of night club's era, when talent was really appreciated and welcome. Barbra's rendition is so damn sexy!

Oh...and I got the idea for the video from her...in the liner notes for this album...Barbra said this song made her think of smoky night clubs from the past... ;)

I like it when Barbra sings those old 1920s standards. She's the best
when singing the great american songbook oldies.
