  • Cool! What is he doing these days? Isn't he from Nebraska?

  • OMG! I was a huge Braves fan growing up, and this is the first time I ever heard him talk. I remember when he was traded to Montreal, the Braves where playing Montreal. I also remember he had a good pick off move to first base.

  • Hey man I really appreciate these videos, especially since their very detailed! You always cover the important details like what your hand should be doing, not only how to grip the ball!

  • whenever I throw a circle changeup, it just dives straight down to the ground. I mean, ive practiced this for a while, but it seems like it will never work. I dont want to get involved with a curveball yet. so any suggestions on helping me throw this pitch?

  • Wow! Thanks! That will really help me this year and i wont get the crap hit out of me this year either! Thanks Zane!

  • Zane is wrong. He has to learn that some kids are playing so competitievely that they have doctors just for there arms. There is a lefty on my team who when he was younger threw sidearm. He threw a screwball half the time and on this team he had 2 no hitters. As long as the kids know how to throw a curveball i think its ok. The safety curve is also good for younger kids.

  • No....I DONT know

  • The ultimate crafty left-hander. He was a pretty good hitter for a pitcher too.

  • I hirt my arm trying to learn how to throw a curve ball

  • thank you for the tips, i am a great little league pitcher, and was great the whole season but in the worls series my mechanics were a little messed up now i know what to do and whar i did wrong

  • He is right. The curve ball for little leaguers is based on hand size, or specifically the yet the length of the fingers:

their ability to grip the ball and not "perch" it, which allows the thumb to stay up for a bad radial twist and hence possible elbow problems
