as a tuner, it bothers me to see comments that shows lack of intelligence or even the ability to think outside the box, this is a great car, a great project personally all this back talk ego stroking baby shit is a waste of time on both parts! keep makin these things go faster, those who are not open to new ideas and technology will be eventually! I love gas, and I love electric..but honestly the numbers on new electric motors dont lie! plug in and power up! and lets just have FUN! -

The Taunter here part of the White Zombies PlasmaBoy Racing Team. What actually happened in the video you see all the sparks is from our motor! The batteries were not the issue at all as a matter a fact they performed flawlessly and delivered allot of power. We abused our poor motor for a few years of hard drag racing and it finally went 6 feet under! We did not make a 10 second pass on this run however we did twice the following weekend! New world record! 10.4 seconds at 117 MPH!

I grew up in the 60's,in calif,never were we exposed to anything with wheels that was electric,except our electric train sets.But believe me,electric's will rule someday,smashing every record ever made by a combustion engine.Electric motors have 80-90 percent efficiency,while a combustion engine looses most of it's power out the exhaust,in the form of heat.If we could contain that heat,then we would have something,but material science seems to lagging as far as engine parts are concerned.

@jamesdodd64 sry I´m not into elektrik car technik, but I get that idea to throw my gas fuel engine out and replace it whit an electrik motor, lets say I will have something about 450 NM how much is such an built. and is it hard to convert a car .... I did a motor swap sometime, so I guess I can handel something ;-)

@Lithiumaniacs well th emotors are fine... it's that they have a lunatic behind the wheel. Seems to think 2000amps isn't enough, and that 4000amps is much closer to what is proper.
