Dave Roever-American Hero

In September 2007, Hillcrest JROTC cadets had the privilege of meeting Mr. Dave Roever at an Evangel College Football game in Springfield, MO.

We knew "Davey" because we watch his DVD "Davey, the High School Experience" every year. It was just wonderful to meet him in person.

One correction to mention: Near the end of the video it says the executive director of KSGF is Kortney Wilson. This is incorrect; her last name is Williams.

Davey Roever is a very insparational, inteligent man kinda reminds me of everything my father has once told me.. I just wish that more then just ROTC programs would look at his programs, maybe they would have a more creative outlook on things

I remember seeing him in person at our grade school when he told us his story..this was over twenty years ago...very remarkable man with a wonderful outlook on life and a great sense of humor...A hero in my book..I wish him the very best
