Executing .bin files in Ubuntu (Linux in General)

Ubuntu and Ubuntu studios are sent as ISO files, so I had to bust them and make them bootable on discs for antoehr computer with no internet. Studio seems to have yet another Ubuntu OS along with it, but I think I have to log on to the net to get the stuio software to work. All I want is the sound editing prog'. Or is it possible to get the softwareto work without accessing the net?

All these tutorials tell us how to install from the internet.
How do I install software from a disc into Ubuntu ? Or does Ubuntu not contain an installer utility for such a purpose.
