The other common factor probably present is "flying on the back end of the power curve" where excess power PRIOR to the airspeed building up results in the wing being pitched up, when this happens it takes very little yaw for one half of a wing to stall leading to a spin... a more progressive launch, smoothly building airspeed avoids 99% of these incidents even with 'snags' distorting the aerofoil.

lie, you where heli spinning for the cam

It could have been a lot worse!

very instructive. Looks like too much brake on the left side.

The cause of this crsh was a little more subtle.
One of the lines got routed through the speed bar karabiner. This was missed on the pre-flight check. In flight this slightly deformed the geometry of the wing, causing it to spin just after take-off. Fortunately, Andre (the pilot) was not too high when this happened otherwise the machine would have been damaged and Andre could have been injured. Nothing was broken! The frame was not damaged and the machine was flying within an hour.

this was indeed hard to see on the video.I am happy to hear that the pilot is ok. the touch down was indeed very athletic. This stresses the fact that a thorough pre-flight check is very important. I once forgot to unstap both leg straps , had to abort early !!

Yes, this really does emphasize the need for a thorough preflight check. If you look at the trailing edge of the wing, you will see a crease where the D lines meet the wing. I suspect it was these lines that got routed through the speed bar karabiner and were shortened by about 6 inches. This effectively stalled the left side of the wing just after take off and was the cause of the spin.
