More or less, my first time genuinely trying to learn how to record an a Cappella song on my own with some real production behind it. I chose this one because I really like 42Five's arrangement of this song, They took a song with a little bit of melody and added a whole lot more to give it a full sounding a Cappella rendition that's not only worthy of the original, but far surpasses it (in my humble opinion). This song and their performance of it really inspired me to get back to doing what I love, which is Mouth Drumming and a Cappella music.
Unfortunately, I don't have the best mic or adapter right now. I only own a ShurePG58 mic, and a ShureX2u audio interface (to plug my mic into the computer), so I had to make this without the best sound equipment. That said, I still think it turned out pretty good.
I did use auto-tune (derrp, obviously) to achieve the auto-tune sound that they get when they perform this with their iPhones, although (and let's be honest) it doesn't work my terrible voice as well as you'd think it would.
Anyways, since this is mostly for my family and friends, I don't much care about what else anyone says. Enjoy.
Dude, sounds great!
