Little is known about Dolly Cooper, even though she was a prolific recording artist in the 1950's. Cooper recorded 21 titles for Savoy, Modern, Dot and Ebb between 1952-57. She was also a featured vocalist on recordings by Hal Singer and Preacher Rollo.

  • Sounds like the predecessor to "Hound Dog" to me. Although in this case, the singer is addressing another woman who's after her man, and who she's insulting to the best of her ability.
