My final high frequency solid state tesla coil. It uses a single mosfet (IRFP 460) in a Armstrong oscillator.

  • excellent. interesting circuit design too. my small sstc is currentnly on ice because i wasn't able to make a driver that produces high enough frequency. i was using a ne555 before...but i think my coil is at 800khz to 1.5mhz so that doesnt work. i will definitely try this circuit.
