Cat and Dog was one of the many novelty ragtime pieces written by the great Harry Reser for tenor banjo. I play it on plectrum banjo here, because it's easier for me. For the uninitiated, you should be able to hear both a cat and a dog (c'mon, use your imagination!). Anyway, it's one of my favorite banjo tunes, one I've never quite gotten perfected (in case you couldn't tell!).
how is your banjo tuned?
