Not Calling Him Dad//Chapter 22

--Demi's Side.

We pulled into the hotel as the sun started to set,''Well I guess I know where I will be staying tonight.'' Selena smiled.

We got out of the car pulling all of my bags out and walking inside,''Yes I would like to get one room..for 3 weeks?" The lady smiled as she looked at her computerized cash register.

''That will be $205.34 Ms.'' I counted threw all the money that was in Joe's wallet and handed her the exact amount, in exchange she smiled and handed me the room key,''Enjoy your stay.''

''Room 205.'' I said too Selena proudly. Selena helped me lug my bags into the room, We both collapsed sitting on the bed. ''So what are you going to do for a job? I mean you can't just live off of Joe's money for the rest of your life.''

''Well yeah I know that, Actually I've thought of getting a job at maybe a dance club or something, I know the hotel has one, So maybe I'll do that...''

''What about School?" Selena asked. I sighed,''I honestly forgot about school. Maybe I'll start going too school around here..Make new friends, Get a new boyfriend.'' I elbowed her playfully.

She smiled,''Can I borrow some pj's?" I nodded,''Of Course, they are in that bag over there.'' I pointed as we both started to get ready for bed,''I Call the couch!'' Selena said pulling the couch out into a bed. ''Well then I guess I get the bed?" We both laughed and layed down falling right to sleep when our heads hit the pillows.

I awoke to Selena sitting on the couch with her phone to her ear,''Yes, I'm Sorry, I forgot to call..'' I could tell that it was Nick and he sounded pretty upset. ''I'm Sorry, Nick please forgive me. I Love you..I Just forgot, I was dealing with Demi and--'' I could tell that Nick had interuppted her.

''Oh..Okay..I Love you..Bye..'' She sat her phone down sighing,''Morning, Sleepy head.'' She said with a fake smile,''Whats wrong?" I asked sitting up. ''Nick was mad I didn't call to tell him where I was. And now Joe is over at his house, eating chocolate icecream and watching romance movies like a chick..'' Selena laughed.

''Ohh..Wow..'' I smiled. Joe can do that all that he wants, Cause I'm enjoying this new life, except for the fact that I miss his letters he would leave me when he went to work, When he would hold me, When he would kiss me.

One Year Later;

I Walked in throwing my backpack and jacket onto the bed and looking through the mail that I had. Couple letters from Selena, not much. It was finally Friday, time to go have some fun tonight. My phone started to ring, I started throwing jackets and pillows up trying to look for it, Once I found it I put it to my ear,''Hello?"

"Hey, Can I stay over tonight?" Taylors voice rang through my phone. ''Sure thing. I'm working tonight though..'' I made sure to say. ''Fine with me, I Just need somewhere to stay for tonight, Parents kicked me out for tonight. They we're mad at me..'' I laughed,''Okay come over whenever you want.''
