As part of the 7 billion campaign and the implementation of the H4+ joint programme to support CARMMA in Cameroon, our office launched last week the song and video "La femme enceinte" (Pregnant woman). Written and produced by UNFPA and Cameroon singer musician Prince Ndedi Eyango, it gathers a group of 20 renowned musicians and journalists from different regions in Cameroon. They have joined their voices to honor women who give lives and to advocate that none should die or suffer while giving life. The song is a call for everyone to unite and to to act now against maternal mortality - an act in which men cannot be left out. The song is sung in major languages of Cameroon by (a.o.) J. A. Bell, Isnebo, Annie Anzouer, Final-D etc. as well as the late Bebey Manga who died2 days after the recording.
We hope that you will enjoy this makossa hit !
