Usual negative criticisms from YouTube 'expert' trolls... I am a music teacher and multi-instrumentalist and I felt that the performance used a lot of expression and was a valid interpretation. Depends whether you view the role of the piano as merely accompanying or in a kind of duelling/duet capacity. I think it is both and the pianist sensitively responds to that. There was no point when I could not hear the violin. This is from Copeland's Rodeo, not from Brahm's Lullaby, anyway...

I love this song and I like seeing how much fun they had playing this piece together. It's just a bit disappointing to hear how much the piano overpowered the violin:( But either way it's a great song:D
