Pitching the yeast is one of those things that's actually easier done than said.

Really it's nothing more than sprinkling the yeast over the wort and shaking it hard.

That should get the yeast started and the beer fermenting. If the beer is not fermenting, then you probably used old yeast and may need to do the unthinkable... pour it down the drain. Which is why I recommend you make sure you have fresh yeast.

  • Can't believe no one posted anything to these videos, really nice job man. I am just about ready to get my feet wet with brewing an RIS (yeti or another extract kit) and these tutorials are great. Thanks again.
