How to play Still Doll from Vampire Knight. Tutorial #1 - Introduction

Since everyone's been asking to post up a tutorial.. I'll just teach the introduction. It's probably not possible to me to teach the later on because I do not have someone to help me hold the camera.

Also.. I haven't completed the song because I LACK OF KEYS!

This one is slightly different from my original video because I've improved over time.

Sorry to say so, but the way you play (I mean technique) is horrible. Horrible horrible horrible. If you wrote the notes for this song at your own, from listening, then it's cool, you have a talent. But I think you should get some extra lessons for learning technique, because if you'll start playing some more ambitious, harder songs, then you're not gonna make it. Or it'll be really not comfortable and you'll make really many mistakes.

@Tosiak97 Honestly, I don't get what you mean? Besides, this video's really old, and I haven't had any lessons since 9 to 10 years ago. IMHO whether I'm able to play the songs well or comfortably for myself isn't up to you to judge. And this is the first and only tutorial that I've made - playing while holding a camera isn't what I'm used to doing. What do you expect?

Might i suggest getting a tripod for your camera? Thats way you can just set it up and let it stand there.

The song is very nice, although you may want to work on the fingering so that its more convinient, and also on your clarity. You have the notes anf the speed, but it should sound clearer, if you consider the song.

Now to go find the sheet music coz im crap at playing by ear :)

@MattinaMorgan I don't intend to get a tripod because this was just a 'for fun' thing.

The fingering is pretty much easy for me? I don't really know what you consider it as more "convenient". Given that I'm holding the camera with one hand, it's not easy for me to not make any mistakes at all.

Anyway I did another tutorial that's slower and clearer quite a long time ago if it helps.

@Tosiak97 You should keep in mind that he/she is holding a camara as well. If you have a problem then go bitch about it somewhere else cause quite frankly we don't wanna know. We can understand the tutorial fine and thats what this video is about. Not whether he/she is playing "comfortably" enough for your taste. So lay off dude, he she is playing fine.
