  • @marcmoney The reliance issue is more powerful than issues in that letter. Having documented some of the world of Pimps & Hookers, I have a better understanding of how that works.

This is also why i think that freedom scared a great deal of the slaves. Many continued to work for their masters even after laws passed giving them the opportunity to leave. After having relied on a owner so long, how easy is it gonna be for someone to fend for themselves? Especially in an America that relied on them

  • @marcmoney Think about how pimps work. They take women from one place and put them in another place that they have never been and have never met anyone then they keep them from having any real substantial communication with anyone in the new spot. Why? So that the hooker is totally reliant on the Pimp. Slave owners had that same upper hand. They took slaves from a whole other continent, brought them here and then separated them from anyone who had any way to help them. They relied on massa...

  • @marcmoney Nice but there are plenty of actual slave narratives and other real documents out there that we can get information from. The problem with the Willie Lynch letter is that it is too convenient. People read it and feel like they know how slave owners were able to psychologically "break down" slaves. But to me it doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand that a minority group in a foreign land that is physically distinguishable is going to be very easy to identify and control.

  • @ForChangeMovement my brother I'm not knocking your research or your references but i believe that all old documentation from when the country was first brought up after the constitution was written or before the country was under the us constitution has not been revised but the document is probably real but from "NUMEROUS" slave masters that wrote different treatment to make up the letter and then the document was named the "The Willie Lynch letter to make a slave". just a thought my brother

  • i like the vid. BUT if its a fake letter - its quite accurate on the TODAY of black homes, mothers protecting wrong sons, black men talked down at, dark skin light skin, and all of that is evident TODAY. so if debunking this letter helps us "take responsability" - tell me how. how can someone take responsiblity of something they dont understand and didnt even create? so death of this letter, but a birth to what solutions though? this gives understanding - we can fix it now. whats your soulution?

  • great job! i like how you embrace the middle and look at both sides. that is one of the greatest goals in life seriously! you make me want to make a difference in the world, and read more historical books. i think i'll look into reading roots.

  • Bravo!!!!! Good work my Brother. your presentation is above average. The only problem is that you talk as if being an African American scholars absolve them of presenting incorrect historical info. Your words Hes Black. and Hes Black look at the dashiki. Also Truth defends itself, under it, all things false will fade. If Keisha770 and Queen Latifah are being verbally assaulted for speaking the truth Im sure they can handle it without a chivalrous Knight. stick to the info.

  • zenqueen78 & ForChangeMovement...I can't debate you ppl, not my arena. I do hope y'all try & enjoy ur lives on this planet, hate will age ya.

What is the appropriate behavior for a man or a woman in the midst of this world, where each person is clinging to his piece of debris? What is the proper salutation between people as they pass each other in this flood? ~Buddha

Peace to you & yours, God bless

  • Ppl like you are so busy trying to 'de bunk' the letters authenticity you dont realize that the letters message is still authentic. Truth is most ppl couldnt stomach the trauma slaves really went thru and the letter does help open the eyes of many blacks who are beating thier kids because they are too dark skin or have nappy hair or hate being black. So, I ask how are you helping by basically denying the fact that slaves were brainwashed and traumatized? I dont get your point.
