Are there other options other than DCC or is DCC the one?

F3 is the coupler fire and diconnect. I no cuz i have a CSX GP40-2 with the same sounds.

spgp60=very good video...i believe the sound you liked was the airbrake; it made a whoosing sound.

@JohnPW22 If you have a good DC controler, you can sell it for a good chunk of money, then buy a utility throttle. i only paid (sort of) 20$ for the utility throttle!

@koelschwolf That is not a very popular Controller. Digitrax has to be the best by my point of view. I would suggest getting that.

Jump is for the jump port that allows you to add a dc controller that then becomes a digital controller! I'm getting a Zephyr imminently and have read a little about this feature... so think that's what it is - very useful for anyone with a few old controllers!

The ATSF GP38 I ordered straight from Atlas's website and order form, to the total of about 270 bucks. The Zephyr I got from my LHS.
