Ico "Wasserfall" EU-Version PS2

Ico und Yorda am Wasserfall. Deutsche PAL Version des Sony Playstation 2 Spiels von 2002. Das Wasserrad und die "Bolzenpumpe" sind nicht in der US-Version des Spieles und machen diesen Bereich scheinbar schwieriger. Mein ~erster~ Spieldurchlauf! Den Morgenstern hab ich dank des Walkthrough von "starsaber2345" hier gefunden. Den Tipp, wie von der "Bolzenpumpe" abzuspringen ist, bekam ich von 'nem Video-Kommentar von "MrZeldaNerd".

Ganz niedlich, aber das Game-Design, oder besser die Game-Mechanik lässt einiges zu wünschen übrig. Ebenso das leere Gefühl, welches einem über die Stunden ohne Geschichte und Dialoge beginnt zu beschleichen. Gnaz zu schweigen von diesen absurden zerfallenen Gebäuden, die sich "zufällig" über Kanten, Rohre und Ketten in einer bestimmten Reihenfolge durchqueren lassen ^_~

The "water-wheel" and funny "jump-pump" are not part of the US-Version. It apparently makes the level more difficult. My ~first~ play-through!

I still don't understand how am I suppose to jump on the waterwheel, why didn't you show it on the video?

@Skeithization - well, it took me quite a while to manage. And the tape only records 1 hour of time, so I had switched the recorder off inbetween. I know it's... stupid, but well, I am absolutely not the Jump'n'Run type of player. You have to be damned fast, after you grip the wheel - not getting spiked - getting up on the wheel and jump towards the wall in the back, where there is the bar at the wall and then climb up.

Where do you get that block at the end of the video? I didn't find one there and I'm stuck in this place now because I can't reach the doors ,,, :-/

@TheCroustiBapt - it's right down there. maybe your screen is set too dark, so that you can't see it?

Die Bolzenpumpe ist das grausamste was ich je in einem Spiel erlebt habe ich habs bestimmt hunderte von Male probiert mit dem scheiß Ding hoch zu springen.

Aber dieses von dir beschriebene "leere Gefühl" ist so gewollt im Spiel. Und das ist das was eben die Team ICO Spiele so besonders macht. Aber das Game-Design und die Game-Mechanik ist wirklich nicht das beste (zumindest in ICO). Shadow of the Colossus ist da schon etwas besser. Und The Last Guardian wird der HAMMER!!!

Das ist doch schon komisch das einige Stellen in der EU Version anders (und vor allem schwerer sind). Mir ist das letzes Jahr auch aufgefallen wo ich mir ICO endlich mal gekauft habe.
