@bababooey7576 well i got a 81 with a 307 the oil light never cam on and the motor just started tapping out now that the 307 has killed itself & has such a weak bottom end i am going to drop a 455 rocket engine in there sometime this year & light up parking lots

what exhaust are you running, because i have an olds 307 in my 86 regal. and i just have to have that sound

@pancakewafflebacon i had a car with the olds 307 , and the oil pressure would dip just enough to bring the low oil pressure light on at hot engine/low idle ie stop light etc...it was brighter when i had more accessories on...my mechanic at the time said "i can either take the bulb out, put a piece of tape on it, or charge and arm and a leg to fix the problem. i'd leave it, its fine" so i did and for the next 60 000kms that i had the car, me and the oil light became good friends.
