@67rallysport But even before release by Shout! Factory, "T.A,M.I. Show" was widely circulated among collectors, and had been available since the 1980s in edited form (on VHS, together with Phil Spector's "The Big TNT Show"), as "That Was Rock," with then-new wrap segments by Chuck Berry. That release showed the acts out of context, some (such as The Beach Boys and The Barbarians) missing altogether.

@67rallysport Actually, "The T.A.M.I. Show" has been available on home video/DVD about two years now. PBS,as usual, was slow to pick up on it.
But thanks must be given to Dick Clark and Shout! Factory for the reformatted release.

The Rolling Stones in center showing them how it's done.. awesome! They did The TAMI Show (taped at the Santa Monica Civic, CA. out of circulation for decades til recently on PBS) that year showing us again how it's done. Bobby Sherman years before his fame on TV and pop idol days. Gawd, this is great. Thanks for sharing!

Damn! Seeing the Stones in this surreal context reminds me of how phenomenal they were, especially compared to these other gits - Chuck Berry (author of all the bits) would definitely take them (and actually did - find the utube vid of him torturing Keith with proper instruction) seriously.
