@mark2500 That's good to hear! I love cold brew, too -- it definitely lends itself to a smoother cup :) - Kat

@SeattleCoffeeGear I guess there's always gonna be something for everybody. I personally prefer cold brew (served either hot or cold) over everything else. Probably because I don't like brightness in my coffee.
By the way, the video works for me now. I guess that the storm that came a few weeks ago just did a number on my internet connection.

@mark2500 I don't get it either; just tried it from my home machine/connection and it played just fine. Maybe your computer has something against blind taste tests? ;) - Kat

I was wondering: between the Silvia and the CC1, which has the edge in steaming power, notwithstanding the inherent fact that the CC1 is a TB and can thus steam much longer? I am curious how it fares in terms of sheer power. Also, how do you think the CC1 compares to the QM Silvano, again in terms of steam power? Thanks.

@sampavman Sheer power = Silvia wins because it's got a bunch of steam built up in the boiler that comes out full force. The CC1 is easier to control and work the milk, however. It's a boiler + thermoblock combo, so you don't have to wait long when getting to steam temp, as it's pulling the water through the boiler and then into the TB so the steam quality is drier than a TB-only machine. Functionality seems to be fairly similar to the Silvano's steaming, but that is a TB only - Kat
