i HATED the music score in this movie. The mood was wrong and it came in and out of the movie in a jarring way. Other than that it was ok. Check out the 1989 Punisher movie, it's BRILLIANT!

You are completely right. Other than the theme, the whole score was so over-the-top which really affected the serious tone in certain scenes.

I think The Punisher (2004) was a fucking great movie. I love the storyline of the movie. I think Thomas Jane played an excellent role of The Punisher.

Totally agree with you, its my all time greatest punisher movie. Seriously it made me think really hard about revenge and the motives he used to become an outlaw and serve justice for innocent people. Tom Jane exactly fit the role and he made the punisher character his own. Best film of all time i say. Up there with the top ones!

The reason they killed the russian off so quick was because in the comic's he was killed when he was introduced he got brought back to life later

Thomas Jane's the best Punisher ever. They should make a sequel with Thomas Jane, of course. If they try harder, they could make a good one to make up for 2004, That's just me anyway.

I realize this video is older, did you ever see the extended cut w/ more about the Jimmy Weeks character. Also keep in mind that the movie was shot with half the budget and shooting schedule/time of almost any other action movie. I do agree w/ you about the clicheness' of the Saints but Quentin Glass, I thought, was interesting. And Harry Heck, although had a short screen life, was fun too.

I think your a little too harsh on the movie dude. This movie wasnt out for an Oscar award or anything. it was made to be an action movie and focus on Ass kicking and Punisher. i didnt expect so much from it, and the soundtrack was very good i think

Dude, if u think the characters in this movie are "two dimensional" as you put it, then clearly you don't have a good taste in movies, they just act thats all there is to it? You say ur a Punisher Fan? No way, fans don't criticise there fav movies!
