  • This is a bad performance. Listen to Richard Hickox (Conductor), The Endellion String Quartet and the City of London Sinfonia on Virgin Classics - this movement (the first) s much more nuanced.

  • I love it! There is so much energy in this music! I'm so happy to dicover Martinu. What happend at 00:07? The dirigent seems very annoyed by something at his left. A wrong note from the orchestra, perhaps? Anyway, I find that he looks like Max REGER a little bit :)!

  • It's not my favourite Martinu's work (it seems more a work of Charles Ives) but it is worth like musical experiment.
