  • what is the slot on the left side of the keyboard is it for a hard drive?

  • You are the MAN! Thank you. I found it right when you showed it...wasn't sure how to yank out that bracket and you saved me from busting it...I get impatient too easy...

  • Is the HDD sata 1.5 or sata 3g?

  • Ah thanks! This is why I like YT!

  • Thanks! Very helpful video

  • It has DDR2 memory and SATA hard disk drive. With the Core Duo processor, 3GB is the max but if you have a model with a Core 2 Duo, you can get 4 GB. BTW, with Linux, you can use 4GB even with a Core Duo.

  • Hey looking at this vid makes me think i'll do the same with my T30 and upgrade from an 80GB HDD to a 160GB HDD, but i wounder if it will increase energy consumption and deplete the battery quicker.

  • THANK U VERY MUCH

  • @larsjuljakobsen Install a 64bit operating system, it will then support more than 3gb of RAM.

  • @xMandalorex - I t has 2 slots for ram - but it only recognize max 3gb. I through in 4gb of ram, and its using the 3gb fine.
