On the second day of the G20 in Toronto police start randomly searching people downtown. One demonstrator refuses to submit to search so cops threaten and bully him. "This ain't Canada anymore" and "You have no civil rights".

@ajayalmighty we all own the outdoors, we bought it and we pay for it everyday, we pay for the police, we pay their salaries and they are literally supposed to be our employees, not out bosses or our parents or our masters, they dont seasrch us, we should have the right to stop them at any time and fucking search them, to make sure they have no drugs on them, to make sure theyre not drunk, or whatever, but we cant, but they can, so we should stop paying taxes because were not getting the product

@ajayalmighty well no, there is no law that says a police officer can search anyone they want at any time, and for them to have enough evidence to search someone without a warrant they need more tahn someone just walking down the street, they need a search warrant to search a crackhouse, they are supposed to have warrants for everything, thats the problem, people let them get away with a little bit, then they get a bit more until were completely under police control

And just to play devil's advocate, are you positively sure that there isn't anything in Canadian legislature that states that 'suspicious people can be searched'? or 'people suspected of breaking the law (in the past, present and future) can be searched'? I honestly dont have a clue about these answers and wouldn't mind you telling me your highly informed opinions
