A full ride on the A-Train at Iowa's Adventureland Park. For some reason, the train runs much slower these days than it used to - perhaps some of the track areas are needing some work.

Recorded on a Sony HDR-CX7 HD memory stick camera.

  • gosh, this is like walking speed. oh well, thanks allen, great video <3

  • And, darnit, I need to update this. For 2009, they flipped the load/unload area and reconfigured the candy shop because of this, and now the train takes off going back the opposite way (so it heads through the train barn first). :)

  • I think the Driver feels the need to go slower not only due to safety, but if you listen, in a few spots, it sounds like the train is stressing under either pressure or old age, I'm not sure.

  • i love avland:)

  • What's the clicking noise?

  • Anyone remember that mini roller coaster that used to be in the front of the park called the Super Screamer or something like that. You can see the cement where it used to be in this video.

  • Such a fun ride, remember this when I was little! Would you please post some video of mainstreet?

  • the first time i went on this ride,it was a trolley car not a train.1975

  • Really? something I don't know about Disney. lol

  • That's because Disney helped with the initial design.
