I like the older racquets. They last longer feel great. Not the small head ones, but the 95-99's. Hate the new ones because the do to much with making them now.

@Darkchris999 ah thank you, yes I was actually thinking the same thing. It's very easy to blame everything on the racquet I know, but I consider myself to be fairly good in the technique department, I've played for 20 years now. I'm gradually getting used to the lightness of it now which is good but I do find that this racquet 'scuffs' the ball a lot, which I don't get with any other racquet, you really have to punch on the volley to get a sweet hit. I'll def try some different strings. Cheers

@simmy3000 It could be the string, I use the Aerogel Evolution 120 with technifibre string and it really suits my game. However, after a restring the tension was far to tight and i felt like it was so much more effort to hit the ball, but like any change after a week or so i'd worn it back in. But maybe the racquet doesn't suit your game, I like the head light balance, maybe you don't. I'm upgrading to this racquet soon so i'll see how i get on with it.

@pdhsports yep I agree, Iv'e given it over a month now and I have to say that this is not the racket for me, all the gimmicks have not done me any favours really, I ditched it half way through a game and used a Wilson from 1998 instead, my game seemed fairly effortless after that. There just doesn't seem to be a sweet spot on this racket, I think I just prefer heavier heads, the Dunlop feels like playing with an 80's wooden racket if I'm honest. Thanks for your reviews though, they're great.

rate out of 10?
just bought one, not too pleased with it if I'm honest, feel like I have to completely change my technique in order to make the thing work. I think I'm going to stick with Prince I think

@simmy3000 you need to give any new racket a few weeks to get used to it, Prince rackets have a unique feel so will always be different if that is what you are used to, good luck though, hope the racket choice works out for you.

just bought this racquet and wondering what is your view on overgrips? I like the feel of the gecko tac grip alone but on my previous racquets I've always put an overgrip on it

@azycrayessjay personal choice with grips, best to find one you like and stick with it
