  • i have just CHANGED THE Touch screen and LCD screen of my HTC Desire phone but every time i dial a number or pick a call the screen goes black and it has nothing to do with the button on top. What do you think i missed in the internal components?

  • @Africanbeautytotheco Has nothing to do with the button on top - referring to the proximity sensor? Normally that is the main cause of black screen like this. I can't think of a connection issue that may cause this other than the flex cable that holds the proximity sensor.

  • Ok thanks I appreciate your help. I just hope I dnt mess anything up

  • @YaBoiSwagg200 No problem at all. Let us know if you run into any issues and we will try to walk you through it.

  • I just need to remove the front cover because it cracked and I'm ordering a new one. Will it just pop off so I can snap the new one on? Or will anything be attached to it?

  • @YaBoiSwagg200 I am pretty sure you will need to follow through this video to get to the point where you can remove the front cover. I believe there are some things connected to the housing that will need to be transferred to the new housing as well.

  • @YaBoiSwagg200 Yes, everything clips back together and held securely in place.

  • When your putting the phone back 2gether does everything just snap back into place?

  • @cdawson615 You will have to speak with your service provider about it, as it does vary. However in most cases, no.

  • Does that void your phone warranty?
