  • I remember watching it all unfold. I was just a freshmen sharing a room with Jeremy Bose in the room next store to these guise. I was mesmerized by the first mix. It was an exciting time for all of us CCM students. I think Jars of Clay made it feel like our dreams of being music stars were just within reach. To this day I am amazed at all the talent that God placed me smack in the middle of. I couldn't help but be influence in my own music writing by what they were doing back then.

  • @farawaysoclosestay Hey Thank you so much because I didn't understand why they were saying it all fades to grey. I never thought about it they way you just said. So really I do thank you. God bless you.

  • as much as i love Fade to Grey on Much Afraid and Stringtown, i really love the Orgional version that appeared on the demo albim Frail, and is probably my second favorite song of theirs. second only to the Jars of Clay album version of Liquid.

  • Used to be my fav Joc track until "Thou Lovely Source of True Delight."

  • I love Charlie! He's my hero!

  • I love this song more than the others. Could listen to it all day.

  • i like this song a lot! someone should put it on youtube so i can hear it again and again and again...and you get the picture

  • Sheerbeauty, they were obviously joking when they said that, come on, have you truly thoroughly listned to the lyrics? because if you truly have then you should know they were being sarcastic. Rethink it all and you will see the saracasm of it all. Peace

  • Ok...I have watched this three times and he says it was written in 1993 when they were still in college, and it's about...what?? Issues of doubt and where we find truth and it's kind of a skeptic's anthem...

I never saw it like that.
