@iCarlyFanUK1234 The control system on the 1996 stock is derived from the Networker, the control system being Gate Turn Off thyristors (GTO for short). The 1995 stock is controlled by Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT) which makes the single high pitched whine, like the Electrostars, Junipers and the Early Siemens EMUs
I love the 1996 and the 1995 stock. I do prefer the 1996's more though because they have that awsome traction motor sound. The 1995's just squeak. Does anybody think that the traction motors sound very similar to the 365's and 465's 465/2 and 465/9
