Whither Terry Jones?

Ever since I discovered Point of Grace, one of the nagging questions concerning the group for me has been what has happened to Terry Jones, who helped found the group in 1990/91 but retired in 2003/04, giving way to Leigh Cappillino, wife of backing axeman Dana Cappillino. It is my hope that she contemplated coming out of retirement as a solo artist as Heather Payne has with her solo album Sweet Exchange, which will be released 14 September 2010; in addition, Heather appears on "When Life Gets Broken," a duet with Sandi Patty on the latter's Edge of the Divine, which was released 24 August 2010. In any case, I would like to be able to keep up with the latest on Terry, whom I consider one of my favourite POG members of all time (along with Heather).

Terry is still around. I don't think it's really anyone's business as to what she is doing, unless she told you. Terry is doing what she wanted to do after leaving Point of Grace, as is Heather, being moms/wives. Just because they left POG, doesn't mean they don't sing anymore. I know for a fact, that both Terry and Heather are still singing. Don't criticize them because they aren't with the group anymore. That's wrong. I didn't like your video b/c it downplayed what POG has done.

TWILAFAN! I miss you and your videos, honestly. I really like them. Please come back. Although your Hannah Montana parady wasn't the best and didn't get the best reviews, I found your Terry Jones post intriguing and I've watched it a few times. Come back to us, twilafan!

@ starrangel, I think we used to talk on POG's old message boards. (BertaBear). :) and I agree with you as well. I haven't the privilege to know Leigh as well as I know Terry, but what better examples in this day and age are there? (i know there are some, but none compare to POG) :)

@allmyown26 I completely agree with you. It is a blessing to call each of those ladies my friends. I know Heather, Leigh, Denise, and Shelley personally and they have been an example and inspiration to me. They are doing what they love and have been called to do.

I have a sweet friendship with Terry. She is a great example to Christian women. I know what se is doing and she even sings on Heather's album. Leigh actually adds a lot to POG, she has a great voice. Yes, I miss Terry singing with POG, but she (and Heather) stepped out in obedience to God's prompting her, and is rigt where God wants her. What a blessing it is to call her (and Heather) friend.

@twilafan EXCUSE ME? Leigh is not a poor excuse for a singer. She is a great singer. Until you actually get to know the girls, do not go spouting out things that you have no idea about. Get your head outta your butt and grow up.
