Sporty's 2008 Garmin G1000 Cessna Skyhawk Sweepstakes

Sweepstakes Day is a day thousands of Sporty's customers anticipate. It's the day when one lucky customer is awarded a brand-new Cessna 172 Skyhawk with the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit. In addition, the winner receives two Bose Aviation X headsets.

This year, the drawing took place at 4 PM. Sporty's Vice President John Zimmerman welcomed our guests and spoke about the Sweepstakes and how the winner is selected.

The official winner of Sporty's 2008 Sweepstakes is Jeff Hux from Sikeston, MO.

Ive been considering getting a plane... what kind of taxes can one expect?

Although it is absolutely beautiful, I still prefer the old classic look of a Cessna 172.

nice aircraft, however most people i know that are pilots would be unable to keep it . the taxes would murder you. i personally would sell it and use the money to further myself into a career in avaition.
