@isabellaella5 its all about the settings you use to render the video with. just google the settings for highest quality for your particular software for youtube.

for sony vegas users, sharpen the image a little bit and set the CC to Studio RGB to Comp RGB.

@isabellaella5 make sure you're uploading as an HD file/format....make sure you're recording in HD...and finally if all else fails make sure you press the HD button across from the volume button on the youtube bar! hope that helps a little!
I have the same camera but when I upload to youtube the quality isn't THIS good...why?

it was highest setting on the camera, probably low bandwidth and who knows what else was going on that day.i have uploaded about 400 videos since then . The bigger the file the longer it takes to upload. That was a raw file right from the camera Most of the videos I upload are at 720p, a balance between quality and upload time. (not that much difference between 720 and 1080 on you tube. hope this helps you Gary
