@caralhoman if you also read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John you will notice that a dude was put on a tree in the shap of a T or a cross, if you will, and was killed for the sake of our sins. he forgave us for our sins just as we should forgive others of they're's.

There is a problem with the "choose to belive or not" logic
Suppose one gets home early one day and finds his/her wife/husband/whatever and someone else naked on the bed, and then hears the famous "that's not what you're thinking". Can one really choose to belive what the spouse says? Or do the excuses sound so obviously made up and false that one is just unable to believe them because they are beyond any capability of choosing to believe?
