i think this is what i worry most about having hillary as a president. i think she would make rash decisions. where as i think obama would be more likely to consider broader consequences.

actually, i hear that her constituents in new york did not want the war. they overwhelmingly were against it.
even then, she should have been educated enough to see through the government smoke screen and not let her emotions get the best of her. even if the voters had wanted it, the fact that she didnt educate herself first before protecting her position says alot about her, alot that i dont like.

You are correct, and that is my problem with Hillary. She made a "calculated gamble" and voted for the war. Not because she wanted it, but because she thought the American people wanted it. She was wrong, the gamble failed, and she is trying to back track. Obama also took a gamble in being against something that might get him labeled as soft on terrorists. If Bush had executed a flawless war, Obama would not be in the running right now. Instead, Clinton looks bad.
