video is a quick one taken with digi cam so quality is not ideal

  • Any vids of how you made them? I'm messing around in the garage with some of my spair stuff.

  • @walperstyle Sorry no videos. However if you look in the video info, you'll see a link to a detailed DIY thread on how to make them.

  • Would you be willing to build some tail lights for my 1996 Acura TL3.2? I would pay you whatever you like. Please get back at me.

  • @JDIProductions

This project was just sort of an experiment. I gave the lights to a 240sx forum member to test out in the real world environment. I'm not really comfortable selling anything like this until I'm sure the quality will hold up for awhile. :)

  • Just read your whole build thread. Thank you so much for it. I will be applying it to one of my 240z.

  • Thats cool, you could animate them too for the turn signal

  • @matthewbond007 Ferry Corsten - Punk

  • that is legit!!!!!!!

  • smoked tailights with leds would look awesome, also your turn light looks too yellow :s i like them more orange :p but thats just me..

  • Hmm, im curious as to how you can control the brightness. Could you make them brighter when they're on normal (to see through tint better) and then still have them get even brighter for when you trigger the brake switch?

I might look into doing this so you can see the light through the tint better.
