This is the fifth part of my video series on learning Hindi-focusing on writing and reading. This sub-part (b) has the consonants of Hindi getting combined with the other consonants, using rather complex special symbols in its writing system (devanagari script), and our first Hindi word!. It concludes in part 5 (a). Please watch the entire parts 4a to 4b on devanagari script before this part.

  • But what i have to write, if i'd like to pronouns long [a:] and sort one in the end of a word?

    for example: [sta:] स्ताआ and [sta] स्ता and [st] स्त looks ok. Is it correct?

  • @MyFearIsMyBlue Write the middle one: [sta]. In IPA it is actually long a.

  • Is there anyway you could give further examples of these clusters as to be honest, for my English ear, many of them sound almost the same.
