@Spotpiffington every time I listen to it, it remembers me how much I love my dad and how I don't ever want him to die.

@Spotpiffington My dad died in December at the age of 52. He LOVED Queen, that comment really hits home with me.

Yes,he wrote if for Freddie. The original lyrics were actually changed to be less specific to Freddie after Roger finally listened to it. It was changed to kind of be a tribute for Princess Diana,too.

@massillondutches Brian May wrote it following Freddie's death, watch the making

@CRBjeep Your right my bad. Thank you.
-
@massillondutches uhm,no. Brian wrote the song. And it's Brian and Roger both singing it.
-
Sweet heart,this is Brian singing this song.... Freddie wrote it but Brian found it after Freddie had died! Wow did he know something we did not know?

Freddy Mercury. You were the one. -- Without you Queen does not exist. -- Forget Paul Rogers. He could never hold a candle to you.

@Razomir ahaha ok'! your right.

@nostalgiamelancolia1 : I think he died so young because he DID value life, he loved it and that's why he lived it to the fullest.

We played this at my father's funeral (heart attack at the age of 58). :C He was a huge Queen-fan.
