2006 Whelen Modified 300-Start

Here is the start of the 2006 Whelen Modified 300 under the lights at Martinsville Speedway on Labor Day Weekend. There is a big wreck on lap 3 or 4. Enjoy!

I had no idea Martinsville had lights. Awesome looking show.

@pathicks28 They don't have lights all around the track. They just had a truck come for that weekend to hold up the lights in the infield. I would be nice if the Cup guys would run under the lights at Martinsville.

is it cheap to get tickets for whelen modified races at irp, martinsville or milwakee?

Yeah it's cheap. I think it cost $20 for last years race.

i was at this race, it took FOREVER, there were two red flags(one at halfway) Donny Lia driving the yellow 4 car (know as the mystic missile) won this race(also won the points championship that year) (2007) the race ended at 12:30 a.m. I'm from long island so after that we had to drive back home Sunday, 10 hours.
