A full run of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - the arcade version on hard difficulty, played through MAME. No continue was used.
The minecart stages took the heaviest toll on lives, so the focus was on near flawless hostage and Sankara stages. Just had enough lives on the rope bridge to take out Mola Ram in the end.
Following are the settings and self-imposed requirements:
* Seven lives for two credits option at start
* Extra life interval increasing from 20,000
* Completion bonus picked up on level select screen
* Completion bonus picked up on each Sankara Stone stage
* All child hostages rescued on all stages
* Game completion defined as picking up a golden statue on challenge stage (after Mola Ram is defeated on rope bridge)
Also used auto-fire on the gamepad for the whip.

WOW I used to love this game. Spent hours in the arcades. A good run here. That damn Thug chief always used to get me in the cart too. Wish this was still available somewhere.

This is the best run that I've seen! There is a secret bonus at the end of the rope bridge attained by lassoing Willie.

Thanks You soooo much for posting this. One of my all time favorite arcade games. I played this at a circle K at the age of 10, and it was the best. From morning to night, I could play the challenge round. My friend used to sneak stuff from the candy aisle and we would stay all day. bTW, probably first true playthrough of the Arcade version on YT, at least that I have seen. Thanks again.
