it does not STRANGLE the damm bull ! it applys pressure but dosnt hurt the animal !!!!!!!!!! its easy to take of .. 80 % of the time they fall by themselfs so HA !!!

It does not strangle the damn bull. Ive been ridin bulls for 7 years so i know what im talking about. It is not animal cruelty these bulls get treated better then most of the stock contractors own kids. Yes they are bred to buck hence the whole breeding program and the thousands of dollars shelled out for the top quality bull genetics. Maybe your ranch is strangling them but i doubt it and they never have in ANY rodeo ive been to.

@babyminnow The one thing I have gotten from the comments on "evolution" is that the people who believe in it, are the same people that when faced with the question about how this all started. The universe is what I am refering too. That it all started from nothing, right? Then there was this "BIG BANG", right? So if this is true... tell me who pulled the trigger?!!! I for one do not believe that if I leave a head of lettuce and an egg in the fridge, Eventually I'll get chicken salad!!

@Miceazy562843 That single cell would never evolve directly into a human, it took billions of years, as you rightly said, for them to evolve into a myriad of other life forms, and these life forms evolved into different life forms in turn, and eventually humanity came into existence-but we are not directly descended from a single cell organism. I hope that helps. :)

@ejbmom It takes millions of years to evolve, for a difference in the environment to shape our forms. Evolution never stops, technically every child being born is a step forward in evolution-I think that's pretty neat.

@Buckaroo1973 We evolved from a common ancestor, hence there is no middle transition, as we didn't come directly from apes. We have distant genetic ancestors, but we don't directly descend from them. Sort of like distant, several times removed cousins. I hope that helps. :)

The Flank Strap is the same as you squirming away from a tickle. The bull feels the pressure and the feeling and tries to kick away from it.

the flank dont strangle the bulls like tuttoz said it applys pressure but dont hurt them.. its loose enough for the bull to think he can get it off .. it easy to get off

wow... first, it doesnt strangle, and it's up to the bull how high he kicks, not the rope.

second, most of the bulls that are used for rodeo are worth more than your house! they can be well worth $20-200 grand! sometimes even your house, these bulls are treated really well!! the stock contracters arent gonna let ANYTHING happen to these animals... and for the spurs, they tape them so they dont puncture the animal, it helps the cowboy grip the animal.
