@fiddleDdee , I know you made this comment two years ago, I suppose by now you figured this is normal for Carrie to sing this way. She is the one singer I know of that can sing this many hard songs and doesn't have problem with it.

i saw carrie in person and got to talk to her.... my dad is the one that produced her 2nd album..... it was flipping awesome!!!!!!!

I notice at her concerts, when she sings her really high notes, the backup singers are not singing with her. Now I realize why, it's planned that way, they know when she goes up that high on vocals, don't want to hurt their vocal cords trying to reach that high. She is only singer that reach those high vocals without a problem everytime, which is outstanding job. I don't think many artists can do that.

No, it's not the first time I've heard her. I am a HUGE fan of hers, and always wanted her to win since the first day I heard her. But as A LOT of people have pointed out, including herself in many interviews, this album showcases her major growth as an artist. Yes, she's ALWAYS been amazing, and her vocals have always been there...but they have gotten even better as time has gone on.
This is a really hard song to sing - I don't know how she does a whole set of such hard songs

I love this. You can tell she really feels this song. Its amazing.
Oh and i love towards the end, the backup singers looking at her in insane jealousy. lol. i would too!
